Eighth title for Sara Errani

The leader in the scheme of the tournament on clay in Rio de Janeiro Sara Erran has won the title.

On the finale the Italian has beat over the No6 Anna Shmiedlova from Slovakia with 7: 6 (2) and 6: 1. So Errani took her eighth trophy and first of the nearly two years when she has triumphed in Acapulco in March 2013. The 27 years old tennis player from Bologna has seven titles on clay and one on hard courts.

In the first five games of the match neither of them has managed to take her submission. Sarah samples and for 6: 4 has served for the set when the 20 years old opponent managed to put the set in a tiebreak. In it however the Italian had no problems and won with 7: 2 points.

In the second Errani has broken the young Shmiedlova and quickly lead with 4: 0. To the end she did not allow her opponent to shake off the shock.

For the Slovakian this was the first final tournament of the WTA. The success fired the athlete from Kosice with 16 seats up to the record for her 59th position.
