Klopp has supported Guardiola

The Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has supported his colleague from Manchester City Pep Guardiola before Sunday`s clash between the two teams in England. On Wednesday the Citizens were eliminated by Monaco in the Champions League, and for the first time in his coaching career, the expert drops out still on the phase 1/8-final.
`I would say that the team of Pep Guardiola at Barcelona was a role model to win the match. This team was an exceptional combination. He had a very good generation of players and at Bayern Munich, where Borussia Dortmund tried to be their competition but we failed.`, said Klopp.
`To come here in the greatest Championship in the world and try to become a champion is not easy. In other countries, it is also difficult. A win here is everything. The culture here is different. I don`t doubt his qualities. I respect him a lot. We used to meet often and against his teams, it is always difficult.`
`Against Manchester City, we must be active and brave. Monaco failed to make it in the second half times. And City was emitting position after position. We can`t hope Aguero to miss so much and against us.`
`I hope that now is a good time to play against them. I have no idea. I`d be disappointed after dropping out of the Champions League. But they can learn from it. Manchester City is the hardest opponent in the Premier League. They play real football and it is hard to defend yourself against them.`, added the German expert.
