The former Barcelona`s mentor Johan Cruyff said that without Lionel Messi the Catalans would not be able to win the Champions League final against Juventus. The team of Luis Enrique had a 3:1 lead and won for the fifth time that the prominent club competition.
`The final of the Champions League has evolved in the way that I expected.`, Cruyff started.
`Messi is presented at a good level. That was his style of play. He was at the heart of success. I believe that the success of the Barca vs. Juventus is due to him.`, added the expert.
It is recalled that Messi failed to score a goal in the finals, however, Neymar, Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez made the hits.
