The Turkish grand Besiktas reported that it has attracted former German international Mario Gomez. The 30-year-old striker arrives in Istanbul for rent for one year from Fiorentina, as after this period there is an option to be purchased.
Gomez, who has played more for Stuttgart and Bayern Munich, has joined the staff of Fiorentina in 2013 against the sum of 15.5 million.
In 47 appearances for the Florentine Club, however, he realizes only 14 goals, and his stay at `Artemio Franchi` will be remembered more with severe injuries than his work.
In his new club, Gomez will receive 3.5 million euros per season.
