Barcelona hopes to keep Pedro

The Technical Secretary of the Atlantic Barcelona Robert Fernandez said that he hoped to stay in Pedro and team in the new season.
According to Fernandez, Barcelona will withhold Pedro, although Manchester United has a desire to attract him in the team. The Spanish International has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave at any moment against the sum of 30 million euros.
'During the tour in the United States, I spoke with Pedro, and Adriano (which is desired by the Roma). The situation is different for the two, but I think none of them will go.`, said Fernandez.
'Pedro is a player who is doing fantastic and I, as well as the coaches want him to stay. Of course this clause in his contract creates some problems, but I think we can keep him.`, added Fernandez.
Pedro, who is a product of the Academy of Barcelona, was an important contribution to the treble of the Catalans in 2009. Last season when Barca again won all the awards, but he received a minimal chance for self-expression and remained in the shadow of the trio Messi, Suarez and Neymar.
'If Pedro leaves, it will be a big loss for us.`, he said.
