The latest mentor of Borussia Dortmund, Juergen Klopp, has declined an offer to take over French Olympique Marseille, announced his agent Mark Kosike. Marseille remained without a coach after Marcelo Bielsa surprisingly resigned after the first round in the Championship.
Klopp, who left Borussia at the end of last season, however, is of the opinion that it`s not time yet to return to the coaching profession.
'It is true that Klopp declines of Marseille. The direction of Marseille had a very strong desire to appoint him, but Jurgen is still not considered to be making a comeback.`, said Kosike.
The 48-year-old Klopp spent 7 years in Dortmund, which helped the team to become champion twice, once to take the cup of Germany and brought the team to the Champions League final.
Klopp is the second person who refused the invitation of Marseille. Before that, that`s what Zinedine Zidane did, who chose to remain in the takes of Real Madrid. The new favorite for the post is the Belgian Eric Gerec.
